This list is effective as of April 12, 2023. The following information is required by the FTC on every GPL:

"Prior to drafting any contract for goods and services, the responsible party or the decedent's survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any pre-need agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or part, by or on behalf of the decedent."

"The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy an item you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected."

This charge includes all fees, expenses of the Funeral Director, staff and overhead. The following information is required by the FTC: "This fee forever basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burial, and any package we offer including forwarding and receiving of remains."

This fee includes:

• Initial call support
• Arrangement conference
• Coordination of service plans with the cemetery, crematory, and/or other parties involved
• Overhead and insurance, administrative expenses, and completion of official forms and permits associated with a California funeral.

At Natural Grace, the body preparation and temporary preservation of the deceased is done without the use of toxic chemicals. Natural Grace does not require embalming for public or private viewings

The FTC requires the following information: “Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.”

Excludes actual shipping charges and shipping container (does not include ceremonies). Embalming additional.

Service charge for basic staff services, transportation from local airport or other shipping destination within 45-miles, refrigeration for up to 7 days and transportation of the deceased to cemetery or crematory (does not include ceremonies). 

Service fee for either visitation, funeral vigil, funeral, memorial or graveside service. All include staff for 3 hours within a 45 mile radius. Facility fees separate. Additional per hour fee (over 3 hours) $195

Natural Grace offers green burials and home funerals and is among a select group of funeral providers approved by the Green Burial Council, a non-profit organization that encourages the use of burial as a means of facilitating the restoration, acquisition, and stewardship of natural areas.

The following information is required by the FTC: “If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).” The containers we provide are made of cardboard. The price is the same whether the family provides the container or the alternative container is provided by Natural Grace (at no charge), or if the family purchases the container from Natural Grace. The Premium Simple Cremation is a popular choice for local families. It includes everything in the Simple Cremation plus a witnessed ocean scattering for the family at a location of their choice from Newport Beach to Palos Verdes, and also includes a digital video to share and treasure.

This service is often coordinated to take place with a memorial service on the ground. The witnessed scattering service is scheduled at a date and time of the family's choosing and allows for an unlimited number of friends and family to gather at the location in which the witnessed ash scattering will occur.

This service creates a beautiful, lasting memory that can bring closure with dignity and grace. All will view as the cremated remains are released into the air. They make an elegant trail behind the airplane as they sit on a cushion of air and then disappear. 

This service also includes a video of the flight from departure to scattering and landing. The family can choose the accompanying music. 

Popular locations that are included in this are service are all beaches from Newport Beach to Palos Verdes. Other popular locations such as Laguna Beach, Santa Monica Bay and Malibu are slightly additional based on distance. Full details can be discussed, please inquire.

A Home Funeral can be added to any service offered by Natural Grace (or replace as the venue for any service offered through Natural Grace).

​They are a way for families to honor their family member by having a ceremony at home. Home funerals can come in many forms. Some choose to keep their loved one at home for a short amount of time right after death for immediate family and close friends to come by to show their respects. Other families choose to create a special setting and have a more organized ceremony at home. For longer periods of time, the body is kept temporarily preserved through the use of dry ice. (Embalming is used only when necessary)

​We assist families in setting up and facilitating home funerals, and we also offer to simply guide them should they want to facilitate the service and care themselves. Home funerals can be a very beautiful and special way for families to have time with their loved one in the comfort of their own home.  

This Buddhist Service includes:

• Pick-up and transportation to our facility
• Professional services (completion of the required documents including Death Certificate and Disposition Permit)
• Refrigeration for up to 7 days
• Care and preparation of the deceased
