Noe Casas from Costa Mesa passed away November 18, 2025 at age 40. It’s impossible to capture the essence of Noe in just a few words, for he was a man of passion, love, loyal and unwavering commitment to those he cherished most. He was taken from us far too soon, and our hearts ache, but today, we choose to celebrate the incredible joy he brought into our lives from his family, childhood friends, friends he made in his adulthood to coworkers.
Noe found his true calling in the kitchen since he was 15 yrs old while attending at Newport Harbor High School. He wasn’t just a chef; he was an artist. His passion for cooking was evident in every meal he prepared, each dish a reflection of his generous spirit and his desire to bring people together. He fed not just our bodies, but our souls, and the memories of his culinary creations will be cherished forever. Noe loved to camp and took pride in his culture.
Music was another one of Noe’s great loves. He had a natural rhythm, which shone brightest when he was behind a drum set. The beats he created were the soundtrack to many of our best memories. He had a diverse musical taste, from the soulful sounds of reggae to his beloved band, Maná. When Noe played, you could feel his energy, his spirit, and his zest for life.
Beyond his passions, Noe was, simply put, an all-around good guy. He was a special friend to so many of us, always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a shared laugh. He was a man of integrity, deeply loyal, and his presence & jokes always made any gathering better.
But perhaps the most telling thing about Noe was his heart for his family. He always said he wanted to stay home to take care of our mom and dad, a promise he fulfilled with unwavering devotion. His life was a testament to the power of family love and sacrifice, a legacy we will all strive to honor.
We miss him terribly, and the pain of his absence is real. But even in our sorrow, we can feel the warmth of his memory, and the vibrant, lively spirit he shared with all of us. Noe lived his life with flavor, rhythm, and love.
So today, let us not dwell only on the final chapter, but on the rich, full story of Noe's life. Let's remember the chef, the drummer, the son, the brother, uncle and the friend. Let's remember the good times, the laughter, and the love. We celebrate you today, Noe. You will live in our hearts forever.
Rest in paradise, dear brother.
