Miranda Foran Obituary

It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce Miranda Tse Foran of Studio City, CA, passed away quietly on March 2, 2026, from Progressive Supra-Nuclear Palsy (PSP).  She was 56 years old.  Miranda never complained, was never bitter, or scared, and faced this awful disease with tenacity and grace.  Bad-ass chick.

Miranda was born December 26, 1969, in Hubei, China, the daughter of To-Yin Tse and Kit-Ying Poon.  The family eventually relocated to Hong Kong, where Miranda was raised along with her brother Daniel.  She excelled in school and took her academics and badminton seriously.  At 16, she moved to Calgary, Canada, to complete high school at Bishop Grandin High School.  After high school, Miranda traded the Canadian cold for Southern California sun and enrolled at California Polytechnic University, Pomona.  Graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting, Miranda began her career at Kenneth Leventhal & Co.  She practiced in both public and private sectors with stops at Spelling Entertainment, Ticketmaster Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company, and finally PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she ended her career as Tax Partner in Real Estate.  She loved PwC and her work at the firm.  She valued the people and believed strongly in the firm’s mission.

Outside of work, Miranda enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, finding good restaurants (food was very important to her!), jangly lights, working in her garden, hiking, fishing, golf, and building Legos with her two children, daughter Nola and son Donovan.  She would often tell her husband of 20 years, Kelly, “They are the reason I’m here.  They are the reason I met you.”  She loved her two children very much.

Miranda will be missed by all who knew her; the people and friends she’s touched.  Miranda believed in making people laugh, valuing others, and encouraging everyone to reach their potential and be their best.  So, in honor of her:  make someone laugh every day, value others, and encourage them to be their best.

Miranda is survived by her husband, Kelly, daughter, Nola, son Donovan, brother Daniel, sister-in-law Juliana, and in-laws Victoria and Sean Foran, brother-in-law Patrick, and sister-in-law Heather.

Please consider supporting CurePSP by donating in Miranda’s name to help find a cure and support other families struggling with PSP.
