Edward Byron Bryans

Eddy Bryans passed away on April 12, 2024, in Newport Beach, California, at the age of 81. Eddy, born Edward Byron Bryans on November 25, 1942, in Big Springs, Texas, was a cherished father, brother, grandfather and friend.

Eddy, known for his sharp intellect, was a history enthusiast with an exceptional memory for the Constitution of the United States and The Bill of Rights. His thirst for knowledge spanned a wide range of subjects, reflecting his love for learning. In his younger days, Eddy enjoyed the outdoors, engaging in activities like horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. He had a great sense of humor, a fondness for good food (especially Porterhouse steak and desserts), and a particular love for homemade gifts, especially hand-drawn cards.

A Navy veteran, Eddy served his country with pride. His military associations included the Navy and private service. Eddy's family will forever cherish his love for cats, his generosity towards the people he loved,  and his unwavering affection for his family across California, New Mexico, and Texas.

Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Ed Bryans, and is survived by his children, grandchildren, sister, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, and extended family. The family will deeply miss Eddy's presence but will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

The funeral services for Eddy Bryans will be handled by Natural Grace in Costa Mesa, California. Services will be private as per his wishes. May Eddy rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who held him dear.
