Dolores Jean Pokorski

Dolores Jean Pokorski, 89, of Troy, Michigan, died on June 16, 2024.

Beloved wife of Edmund (deceased) for 59 years. Loving mother of Mark (Karen), Kathy (Ron) Rogers, and Matthew (Lori). Dear grandmother of Allison (Michael), Amanda (Jesse), Adam, Alex and Charlie. And great-grandmother of Chloe, Gavin, and Roger.

Dolores was born in 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to Mary and John Mosoryak. She valued learning and obtained her master’s degree in education and devoted her career to teaching elementary school for the Fitzgerald School District in Warren, Michigan. Dolores also dedicated her life to providing the best for her family, following her sense of adventure, and enjoying an occasional glass of wine.

There will not be a formal service. The family will have a small gathering to celebrate Dolores in Michigan in July.
