Carlos is survived by his cherished siblings: Amelia Bajaña, Antonio Fernandez and his wife Gladys, Cecilia Bloomquist and her husband Craig, Victor Fernandez and his wife Jenny, and Nelson Fernandez and his wife Elda. He leaves behind his loving children: Carlos and his wife Karina, Luis and his wife Carol, and Cristina and her husband Jim. Carlos was a proud grandfather to Nicole, Mia, Sam, Ben, and Joey, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Fernandez and Francia Rolleri, his brother Simón Fernandez, and his wife, Aida Fernandez.
