Anna B. Padilla

Anna B. Padilla, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, in Fountain Valley, California. Born in West Germany, Anna grew up with a spirit of resilience, curiosity, and strength that stayed with her throughout her life. She eventually made her home in Southern California, where she spent the majority of her adult years building a life filled with love, family, and friends.

In 1976, Anna married Phillip Padilla. Together they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage, creating traditions, memories, and a blended family that became Anna’s greatest joy.

Anna is survived by her four children—Tricia, Vickie, Jay, and Tina—along with their spouses, twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through each of them, in the values she instilled, the stories she shared, and the unwavering love she gave.

Throughout her life, Anna embraced a variety of unique and meaningful careers. She served as a military translator, guided visitors through Disneyland as a tour guide, and worked in banks, food brokerage companies, and golf courses. She approached every role with dedication and a vibrant personality that made her unforgettable to all who crossed her path.

Anna loved life deeply and fully. She cherished every moment spent with family and friends. She loved to travel, explore new places, learn something new each day, and enjoy the simple pleasures of shopping, golfing, and visiting casinos. She had an eye for the finer things and a heart that appreciated every blessing.

She leaves behind countless gifts—her wisdom, her laughter, her generosity, and the many treasured memories she created with those she loved. Anna held a special place in her heart for Children’s Hospital of Orange County and felt immense gratitude for its mission. Donations may be made in her honor at:

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church in Fountain Valley, CA, on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
